From 2013 to 2015, Carolina was on the board of directors of the “Mil Colores Para Mi Pueblo” foundation in Colombia. As such, she participated in different social interventions in rural areas of Colombia affected by the internal armed conflict, where she gave community workshops on community gardens, house decoration and creative recycling as a way of overcoming the harmful effects of violence. These projects were featured on the RCN national television channel.
